Great to meet you!

For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, pre-teens, and young teens (ages 4–14) as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in school settings. Over the years, I’ve supported kids and their families in navigating a wide range of experiences—including ADHD, anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, learning differences, and trauma histories.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to create a warm, comfortable space where your child feels truly heard and understood, while giving them practical, real-world tools to thrive both at school and at home. I know that no two kids are alike, and I love partnering closely with families to find what works best for your child's unique strengths and needs.

What you can expect from me

Therapy is a journey, and our first sessions are all about starting right where you and your child are at this moment. My approach is entirely client-driven, meaning we move at a pace that feels comfortable and natural for your family.

Our primary focus in the beginning is building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust, safety, and connection. There’s no pressure to jump straight into hard topics right away. Depending on what your child enjoys, our first session might look like playing a board game, diving into arts and crafts, reading a favorite picture book, or simply chatting about their hobbies and interests. By meeting kids in their element, we lay a gentle foundation where they can feel safe, heard, and ready to grow.
