I am a licensed clinical social worker, I have been in the field for over 12 years now. I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of setting as a social worker, in clinical research, I've worked supporting mothers in NICU, non profit and emergency assistance, crisis intevnetion and Veterinary Medicine, pet loss and grief counseling.
I try to create a warm no judgemental environment for my clients. I pull fron many types of interventions but mostly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focuses on identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that keep you feeling stuck and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) / Mindfulness: Helps you build psychological flexibility and stay grounded in the present moment.
