Katherine Wesley

I’m Katie Wesley, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Stetson University. I have been providing counseling services since 2021 and have experience supporting adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and life changes. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Counseling and Counselor Education at University of Florida to continue to grow professionally and deepen my understanding of mental health care. I am passionate about helping people find peace and hope throughout their mental health journeys.

My approach to counseling is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to meet each person where they are and tailor our work to their unique experiences, needs, and therapeutic goals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), client-centered counseling, and trauma-informed practices, and I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My experience includes supporting individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, and significant life changes. I work to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.

I strive to create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable being authentic and exploring their experiences. Together, we identify meaningful therapeutic goals and develop practical tools to support positive change. I hope to help clients build self-understanding, strengthen coping skills, and develop greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. My ultimate goal is to support each person in finding greater peace, hope, and well-being.
