Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Kathi, I have 14 plus years of experience as a Mental Health professional. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and those who are seeking to build emotional awareness, and make meaningful changes that align with their values. I offer support and care to adults and teens navigating anxiety, depressed moods, life transitions, and relationship challenges. My approach is flexible, I emphasize skill-building when you need immediate relief and deeper exploration when you are ready to understand patterns, relationships and meaning...

My approach to therapy

In session I will combine compassion-focused, person-centered and dialectical behavior therapy principles with practical and evidenced based skills such as mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and problem solving tools you can use each week. I am intensively trained in DBT and TF CBT. My approach is flexible, I emphasize skill-building when you need immediate relief and deeper exploration when you are ready to understand patterns, relationships and meaning.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will focus on getting to know one another, building a therapeutic relationship and clarifying the problem/s you are facing so we can set collaborative goals.
