Great to meet you!

Thank you for visiting my page. I would love the opportunity to get to know you and support you through whatever challenges you may be facing.

I’ve worked with older adults, people living with chronic illness, family caregivers, and healthcare workers for over 10 years. My training in Social Work at California State University, Los Angeles, with an emphasis on aging and families, along with 12 years working in healthcare, has given me a deep understanding of the emotional, relational, and practical challenges that can come with aging, caregiving, illness, and life transitions.

My background as a supervisor also allows me to support healthcare workers in managing stress, processing difficult experiences, and reducing burnout.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a strengths-based approach that focuses on helping you build on your existing strengths while developing new tools and coping skills. I strive to create a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood.

I often incorporate visual aids, worksheets, and creative approaches such as art to help clients regulate emotions, process grief and loss, and navigate life transitions.

I offer therapy virtually and in person. I can also arrange in-home sessions for clients in the Pasadena area. I'm open for a brief phone call before your first session if you'd like to touch base.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’ll spend time getting to know you, learning about your background, and understanding what brings you to therapy right now. Many people come to therapy because of a specific challenge or life transition, and we can begin there at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

As we continue working together, other themes or concerns may naturally emerge and we can explore those as well. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can problem-solve and work toward the goals that matter most to you.
