Great to meet you!

Graduate of Boston University and Univ. of No. Colorado, where I lived and worked before relocating to Cape Cod to be nearer family in Mass. I have many years experience with inpatient psychiatric facilities, working in the Emergency room, and in outpatient settings. I enjoy what I do, and I’m committed to being available and helpful to my clients. I look forward to our relationship as we grow and learn. Addictions a specialty.

My approach to therapy

I am active in treatment, a participant. I am sympathetic and understanding, but also an educator, supporter and cheerleader. I consider us a team, to work together to reach your goals.

What you can expect from me

Most importantly, I hope that my clients begin to have a more positive sense of self: that they learn to be kind to self. Life is demanding: it expects a lot from us. If change is to occur, we accept ourselves, and learn to appreciate and define our strengths. In that "knowing", we can then face our challenges, moment to moment, day to day. I want my clients to feel that they are not alone in their personal struggle.
