Great to meet you!

I'm a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who specializes in depression, mood disorders, and psychosis, and I work primarily with people who have had a hard time finding relief — patients who've been through multiple medication trials, feel like nothing has worked, and are starting to lose hope that anything will. Directness is my biggest strength, and I'll be upfront with you: I'm not going to sugarcoat things or waste your time. What I will do is take your history seriously, listen carefully, and work with you to find an approach that actually fits your situation. I see patients in Connecticut via telehealth, which means you get consistent, accessible care without having to leave home.

My approach to therapy

I believe good psychiatric care is both honest and collaborative. I'll be direct with you about what I'm observing, what I think is going on, and what options I think are worth exploring — but your experience and your voice guide the decisions we make together. I specialize in medication management for complex presentations, particularly for patients who haven't responded well to previous treatments, and I take the time to understand why past approaches may not have worked before jumping to the next thing. My goal is for you to feel genuinely heard and to leave every session knowing exactly where we are and what we're working toward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about me getting to know you — your history, what you've already tried, and what brings you in now. I'll ask a lot of questions, and I want honest answers, even if the full picture feels messy or complicated. By the end of our time together, I'll share my initial impressions and we'll begin mapping out a direction forward. There's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet — that's what we're there for. Most patients leave the first session feeling like they've finally been able to say everything they've been carrying, and that's exactly the starting point I'm looking for.
