Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, depression, and addiction, and I also support individuals navigating PTSD, life transitions, coping skills, self esteem, chronic stress, and patterns that feel hard to break. I’ve spent years working in crisis intervention and psychiatric treatment settings, supporting adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves.

If you’re struggling with low self-esteem, emotional numbness, relationship patterns that aren’t serving you, or a sense of “I should be okay, but I’m not” — you’re not alone. I deeply believe change is possible, and that healing becomes easier when you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrated and holistic — working with the mind, body, and nervous system together. I draw from:

  • EMDR to reprocess traumatic memories and reduce their emotional impact.
  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand and care for the different parts of yourself rather than fight them
  • Somatic therapy to support nervous system regulation and release stored trauma
  • DBT and CBT for practical tools and emotional resilience
  • Hypnotherapy (offered separately, private pay) to help shift long-standing patterns, beliefs, and stuck emotional responses

Together, we’ll explore what’s underneath the struggle — not just the symptoms — so you can create meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels respectful and safe.

My style is warm, collaborative, and empowering. Whether you need grounding skills, space to process, or gentle challenge toward growth, I will meet you where you are with curiosity and compassion.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what feels heavy, and what you hope will feel different. You’ll never be rushed — and you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting.

Together, we’ll begin clarifying your goals and exploring what supports you best — whether that’s somatic tools, mindset work, emotional processing, or actionable coping strategies. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about what’s possible.

A little about me:

I’m a mom to an adult daughter, and outside of therapy you’ll likely find me gardening, cooking, reading books (I love mysteries or sci-fi), or spending time with animals — I love them all. I believe in humor, compassion, and connection as part of healing, and I consider it an honor to walk beside people as they rebuild their lives.
