Great to meet you!

In a world that often feels overwhelming and disconnected creativity and nature are a source of consistency and reassurance. I help clients discover and develop the healthy, hopeful and resilient parts of themselves that are often the answer to “how do I deal with my anxiety, my depression, a significant loss, an important life transition, or a past trauma?"

My approach to therapy

I offer virtual sessions and in-person sessions in Ottawa, IL. Together we build a treatment plan that incorporates your preferences regarding what modalities you would like to explore. Writing poetry, walking by the river or in the woods, exploring life themes through photography, grounding with river rocks, connecting to the healing power of plants, and talking about successes and strengths are some of the many interventions we may try.

What you can expect from me

Our first 1-3 sessions will be an exploration of therapy goals and the biological, psychological, and social factors that have contributed to the unique person you are today. We will also explore your interest in the use of creative arts and ecotherapy in sessions.
