I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in NJ. I obtained my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The College of New Jersey. My clinical focus is in treating trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, depression, interpersonal challenges, and other stress-related concerns. In addition to being a therapist, I have been a martial arts instructor and practitioner for 13 years, which has aided me in being able to connect with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds both inside and outside of the therapy room.
I utilize a variety of theoretical orientations including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and EMDR to meet the individual needs of each client. I have completed additional training related to meeting the unique needs of service members, veterans, and their family members, including stressors associated with the deployment cycle and reintegration. I also provide confidential and competent support to those who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Whether you are here to reprocess trauma or to work through a difficult life transition, I am here to provide a space where you feel supported, valued, and empowered to achieve your goals. I highly value the strength of the therapeutic relationship, so it is my goal to understand who you are as a person as well as the experiences which have shaped you to be who you are today. I am here to learn from you as well because you are the expert on you.
