Kathryn Farishta

I am a fellowship-trained Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. My compassion and dedication afforded me the honor of being selected as one of DFW's Top 100 Nurses of 2023. My education includes a Master of Science in Nursing from UTA and subsequent board certification from the ANCC. I have trained throughout the healthcare continuum including psychiatric emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and consult liaison services.

I manage and treat a wide range of mental health concerns including suicidal ideation, depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, and sleep disorders. I provide comprehensive mental health services to adults that incorporates medication, psychotherapy, and lifestyle modification.
