Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. For the past 18 years I have been working in community mental health, school-based, and outpatient settings. I am dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages as they navigate trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relationship stressors, and challenging life circumstances. I am LGBTQIA+ allied and affirming. I hope to create an inclusive space for people of all racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered and strengths-based and I integrate modalities including EMDR, mindfulness, DBT, play therapy, sand tray, and therapeutic expressive arts. One past job was working with animals, and I love working with those who work with animals, and others in care-taking roles, helping them build resilience to compassion fatigue, so they can continue doing their heart’s work.

What you can expect from our first session

My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgemental, encouraging, and collaborative environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered as they work towards finding meaning.
