Great to meet you!

Hi there,

I graduated in 2016 with a double Masters in counseling and Theology. I enjoy working with children, families, neurodivergent, diversely- abled and chronic illness spaces. I also enjoy helping adults and teens define their faith and integrate it with the rest of their lives. I can also provide support for parents as they advocate for their children especially in educational spaces.

My approach to therapy

I work with children and adults from an Adlerian (Individual Psychology) perspective. This gives me a clear framework for therapy and it prioritizes having strong community and sense of purpose. In play therapy every 4-6 sessions is a parent consultation session to keep the parent and therapist aligned in supporting and helping the child grow. When working with teens the ways parents and therapist work together is established collaboratively.

What you can expect from me

Finding the right therapist can be like finding the right pair of jeans, sometimes it can take a while to find the right fit. In the first session for adults we will discuss what you are looking for from therapy, my background and how I work and we can decide if we're a good fit. The first session for children is a parents only session. For teens the therapist will discuss with the parents whether the case history and background session should be parents and teen or parents only.
