Great to meet you!

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Before that, I spent more than 13 years as a psychiatric nurse - in crisis and inpatient settings, on a neurology unit, and doing psychiatric intake. That background shaped how I practice: I've sat with people on their hardest days, and I don't rattle easily.

I work with adults managing the overlap between chronic pain and mental health - the depression, anxiety, trauma, and sleep problems that so often come with living in a body that hurts. If you've felt like your physical and emotional health are treated as two separate problems by two separate people, that's exactly the gap I try to close. I look at the whole picture, mind and body together, because that's usually where the real answers are.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm and direct. I'll take the time actually to understand your story, and I'll also be honest and practical about what might help. I believe you're in charge of your care - we go at your pace, and I want you to leave each visit understanding the "why" behind any recommendation, not just walking out with a prescription.

I focus on thoughtful, conservative medication management, paired with a holistic view of what supports your wellbeing - sleep, stress, daily habits, and the connection between physical and emotional health. I'm not here to layer on medications you don't need. I'm here to find what genuinely helps you feel more like yourself.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit is mostly me listening. I'll ask about what brought you in, your history, your physical health, and what you're hoping to feel or do differently - and there's no pressure to have it all figured out. From there, we'll talk openly about options and build a plan together, at a pace that feels comfortable.

My goal is for you to leave that first visit feeling heard, a little lighter, and clear on the next step. Many people tell me they expected to feel rushed and instead felt like someone finally looked at the full picture.
