Great to meet you!

Welcome. I work primarily with women of all ages, throughout the lifespan, helping them to be their best selves, finding strengths and answers to create the life they desire. Since graduating from Columbia University with my MSSW, I have practiced for nearly 30 years in many practice areas from infectious disease during the AIDS epidemic, to adolescent crisis work, dual diagnosis settings, schools, and for the past decade exclusively in private practice focused on women's mental health.

My approach to therapy

My style is interactive and eclectic, meaning my tool box is deep to allow various approaches to meet you where you are. The client sets the pace and timeframe. Sometimes we work together a short time, other times for longer periods. I have many clients who return for short "tune ups" as life challenges arise.

What you can expect from me

I always begin our work together learning what your hopes are for the work. I see the process of therapy as collaborative and have a deep toolbox, creativity and together we will chart the course toward a life you hope for.
