Katie has worked as a therapist since 2013. Katie was the first in her family to receive a BA and MA degree, and works hard to support others aiming for Higher Education. After college Katie came home and worked in the local community in a variety of roles with adolescents. She continued to grow in experience she learned that she loved to work with young adults struggling with their transition into adulthood, individuals with mood disorders, and first generation latinx clients.

I come from a psycho-dynamic approach and will use a combination of CBT and DBT coping skills based upon your needs. If a client is looking for a faith-based approach to therapy, we can use this as a focus to guide you through treatment. I often use art to guide clients through their therapeutic journey as well.

Clients can expect to have a client centered environment, where a client feels free to be themself and has coping skills that are effective for the client.
