Great to meet you!

You may be doing your best to manage everything life asks of you while anxiety, stress, or difficult emotions quietly leave you feeling overwhelmed. Perhaps you are navigating changes in your relationships, struggling to balance your own needs with the responsibilities of caring for others, or feeling disconnected from yourself during an important life transition. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress management, maternal mental health concerns, relationship issues, and women's issues. These concerns can also overlap with depression, family challenges, and other emotional difficulties, especially when relationships, responsibilities, and personal wellbeing begin affecting one another. With more than 5 years of experience, I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and comfortable being yourself. Together, we can explore what has been weighing on you, strengthen healthier ways of coping, and help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to the life you want to create.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are and the relationships, responsibilities, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you. We'll explore how anxiety, stress management, maternal mental health concerns, relationship issues, and women's issues may be affecting your emotional wellbeing, sense of self, and ability to navigate everyday life. I may use Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to help you become more aware of difficult thoughts and emotions without immediately becoming overwhelmed by them, while developing healthier ways of responding to stress and anxiety. I may also draw from a Gestalt approach to help you better understand your emotions, recognize patterns in how you relate to yourself and others, and become more aware of what you need in the present moment. Our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in your individual experience, creating space to explore difficult feelings while developing practical ways to navigate relationships, responsibilities, and life's transitions with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change or how to explain everything you have been carrying. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and realistic while deciding where it makes the most sense to begin. You can expect me to bring warmth, empathy, and thoughtful guidance to our conversations while creating a space where you can speak openly about difficult emotions, motherhood, relationships, and personal challenges without judgment. Progress may look like feeling less consumed by anxiety, managing everyday stress with greater confidence, feeling more supported through maternal mental health challenges, communicating more openly in your relationships, or becoming more comfortable prioritizing your own needs. We will continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work based on what feels most helpful, helping you move forward feeling more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.
