Great to meet you!

After more than 30 years as a Clinical Psychologist, I understand that therapy looks different for everyone. I work with adults experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, learning disabilities, and addiction in active recovery. Some people need practical coping tools, while others need space to be heard or support in understanding how past experiences affect the present. Together, we can make sense of where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you’d like to go.

My approach to therapy

We’ll begin by exploring what brings you to therapy and creating a personalized plan to support your needs. In our first sessions, we’ll work together to understand what may be contributing to feeling “stuck” and identify practical ways to help you reach your full potential. Depending on your needs, we may use CBT, EMDR, emotion-regulation skills, or trauma-informed approaches. I offer honest, supportive, and non-confrontational guidance, adjusting our work together as your needs become clearer.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need everything figured out before starting therapy. I offer supportive, honest feedback and teletherapy for adults in Wisconsin and Illinois. My goal is to help you get back to enjoying a better life filled with all your favorite activities. For me, that looks like hiking, tennis, science, the environment, and fiction. I am excited to journey with you through therapy so you can get back to experiencing true happiness in life.
