Great to meet you!

Greetings. I understand how big of a step it can be to seek therapy support, so let me tell you how I can help. I provide telehealth therapy tailored to your needs. This can be with a goal to solve a current problem or to overcome a persisting barrier. I have over 25 years of experience working with individuals of all ages struggling with both mental health and substance abuse challenges. Let me walk with you on your journey of recovery.

As your therapist, I will always practice with a trauma informed approach. Many of our unwanted behaviors/thoughts are coping skills that served us in the past. Learning how to let go of those behaviors/thoughts and becoming the healthiest versions of ourselves is what I will help you do.

I encourage you to contact me with any questions you may have about therapy, or getting started, or about me. This is an important step you are taking, and I am proud of you. Take care and be well.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of treatment modalities, often overlapping techniques so that your care is individualized and unique to you and your needs and goals. I am consistently strengths based and encourage mindfulness and emotional self-care. Please feel free let me know if there is a specific type of therapy you'd like to explore.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know each other. It is important that you feel comfortable with the therapeutic process and in my care. We will explore your goals for our time together as well as your preferences and expectations.
