Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed psychotherapist who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, overwhelm, life transitions, and questions of meaning and purpose. Many of the people I work with are creatives, highly sensitive individuals, and people who feel stuck, burned out, or disconnected from themselves.

My approach is mindfulness-based, compassionate, and practical. I draw from CBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches while helping clients build greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a more supportive relationship with themselves. I’m especially interested in the connection between mind and body, and I often help clients slow down, understand their patterns, and move forward with more clarity.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in creative and educational settings, which gives me a grounded understanding of the pressures that can come with balancing work, identity, and personal aspirations. I also bring a multicultural perspective shaped by time living abroad and a long-standing personal meditation practice.

I hold a background in psychology and sociology, and my graduate training in mental health counseling informs the work I do today. My practice is focused on adults, and I offer a warm, thoughtful space where clients can explore challenges, develop coping tools, and make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in mindfulness. I help clients slow down, better understand their patterns, and build practical tools for managing anxiety, overwhelm, low mood, ADHD-related challenges, and life transitions. I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT and ACT, while also emphasizing self-awareness, self-compassion, and the connection between mind and body.

I see therapy as a space not only for coping, but for deeper understanding and meaningful change. I work with adults who want to feel more clear, steady, and connected to themselves, whether they are navigating stress, relationship challenges, identity questions, creative blocks, or a search for greater purpose and direction.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a first session that is welcoming, thoughtful, and focused on getting a clear sense of what brings them to therapy. We’ll talk about what has been feeling difficult, what you would like help with, and any patterns, stressors, or concerns that seem important. We may also discuss relevant background, including relationships, work, coping strategies, and what you hope will change through therapy.

My goal in the first session is not to rush, but to begin understanding you as a whole person and to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest and understood. It is also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work and whether the fit feels right. By the end of the session, clients often leave with a better sense of direction, some initial clarity, and a foundation for the work we may do together.
