Specializes in

Anxiety and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping my clients manage anxiety, anger, childhood trauma, parenting difficulties, relationship issues, communication barriers, stress, overwhelm and life transitions. I support my clients to find their ideal work/life balance through body based mindfulness and an overall eclectic and holistic approach. Head to www.naturalconnectioncounseling.com to read more about my specialties and approaches.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a person centered (humanistic) approach which supports you in deciding what you want to discuss at each session. What you share will be met in a non-judgmental and validating way so you feel heard and seen. We will work through your issues with a mindful approach, at times utilizing your body's wisdom to gain access to your emotions. This will help you get in touch with how you feel.

What you can expect from our first session

We will focus on building up coping skills in your life so that you can function better. If you connect well to nature or your body's wisdom, we can utilize these as resources for coping. I teach my clients how to do this when they are interested. We build up your toolbox of coping skills as we creatively find those which help you the most.
