Great to meet you!

For more than 25 years, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals through life's challenges in a variety of settings, including community mental health, medical clinics, and private practice. Since 2012, I have provided telehealth counseling to adults across Missouri. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you can explore your strengths, develop new skills, and create meaningful change at your own pace.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, or relationship concerns, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Together, we'll work toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and lasting growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Every person brings unique experiences, strengths, and challenges to therapy, so I tailor treatment to meet your individual needs and goals. Clients often describe me as easy to talk to, warm, and authentic, and I strive to create a comfortable environment where honest conversations can happen.

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and focuses on helping clients better understand patterns of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck or causing distress. Together, we'll build practical coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop meaningful strategies that support long-term change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for therapy. We'll talk about what brought you to counseling, explore your goals, and discuss what you hope to gain from the process. My goal is to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing openly.

As we work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and practical support. We'll identify strengths you can build on, develop realistic goals, and create strategies that help you navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and self-understanding.
