Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's most challenging seasons. Throughout the majority of my career, I have provided therapy and support to youth, families, and individuals facing crisis situations, complex life stressors, and significant emotional and behavioral health needs.

My areas of clinical focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and co-occurring mental health conditions. I utilize a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach that recognizes each person's resilience while helping them develop practical tools for healing, growth, and emotional wellness. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to work toward their goals.

As a Christian counselor, I enjoy integrating faith into the therapeutic process for clients who desire a faith-based approach. I believe that emotional healing and spiritual growth can work together, and I seek to help clients strengthen both their relationship with God and their overall well-being while respecting each individual's unique beliefs and journey.

I have a particular appreciation for family-centered work and believe that healthy relationships are often a key component of lasting change. My experience includes helping families improve communication, strengthen connections, navigate conflict, and work collaboratively through challenges. At the same time, I have extensive experience providing individual therapy to people who find themselves at a crossroads in life and are seeking support, clarity, and guidance as they process difficult circumstances, make important decisions, or move toward personal growth.

My goal is to meet clients where they are, provide compassionate support, and partner with them in building hope, healing, and lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

I believe that every individual has unique strengths and the capacity for growth, healing, and change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to the specific needs of each client. I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe exploring difficult emotions, past experiences, and current challenges without judgment.

Drawing from trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, strengths-based interventions, and family systems principles, I help clients identify patterns, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience. For those seeking Christian counseling, I can thoughtfully integrate biblical principles, prayer, and faith-based perspectives into treatment while maintaining evidence-based clinical practices.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, parenting concerns, or a major life transition, my goal is to walk alongside you with compassion, support, and practical tools to help you move toward hope, healing, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it's normal to feel nervous or unsure about what to expect. My goal during our first session is to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace.

During our initial appointment, we will discuss what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the counseling process. I will also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, strengths, and any challenges you may be experiencing so I can gain a better understanding of how to best support you.

Rather than feeling like an interview, I strive to make the first session feel like a conversation. You do not need to have all the answers or know exactly where to begin. Whether you are navigating a crisis, processing trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing challenges within your family, or simply feeling stuck at a crossroads in life, we will work together to identify goals and develop a plan that feels meaningful and achievable.

For clients seeking Christian counseling, we can also discuss how you would like your faith to be incorporated into the therapeutic process. My approach is respectful, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs and comfort level.

Most importantly, you can expect to be met with compassion, authenticity, and a genuine desire to help you move toward healing, growth, and hope.

I believe that seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. Life can be overwhelming at times, and you do not have to face those challenges alone. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, your family, or your faith journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you and help you navigate the path forward.
