Great to meet you!

As an immigrant, I have encountered multiple challenges navigating a completely different social system, from language to culture to beliefs. Nonetheless, finding a therapist who shared my experiences and cultural viewpoint was arduous. I developed a deep understanding of the struggles surrounding language barriers, cultural differences, and disabilities. Thus, my approach in therapy is to help you utilize your own life experiences as resources and strengths to reach your goals.

My approach to therapy

My foremost emphasis in therapy is to build a trustworthy relationship with anyone who comes into my care. I strongly believe each individual is an expert in their own life, so therefore collaboration is emphasized in my therapy. I have a wide range of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, and families.

What you can expect from me

My passion for systemic work arrives from my own personal experiences as an immigrant. Navigating a completely different social system, from language to culture and beliefs, helped deepen my understanding of the issues of language barriers and cultural differences. Thus I strive to provide you a non-judgmental and interpersonal space for you to explore and build your path to your preferred outcomes.
