Great to meet you!

Hi there! Life can be challenging and full of unexpected twists and turns. As a licensed clinical therapist with 15+ years of experience, I am here to guide clients towards personal growth and healing.

I believe healing can happen when people feel safe sharing their emotions and challenges, in a space that is free from shame or judgment. I have a high level of expertise working with teens/adults who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life stressors, low self-esteem, relationship issues, and mood disorders.

I have a passion for supporting others in the helping field, including medical professionals, therapists, teachers, and those working in high stress careers. I provide clinical supervision for lmsw, lmft, lmhc.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am down-to earth, honest and compassionate. I believe with the right support and connections; everyone has the ability to heal, grow and live a more fulfilling life. I provide a safe confidential space for you to explore your personal thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I find it most effective to blend treatment modalities including Person-centered, Trauma Informed CBT, DBT, IFS, Strength-based, Motivational and Resiliency building. I incorporate psychoeducation when teaching soothing skills that help to calm the nervous system. Tapping into the mind-body connection can be a very powerful tool.

What you can expect from our first session

In sessions, you can expect to be listened to and guided in expressing your thoughts, feelings and beliefs. It can be beneficial to dig a little deeper to explore underlying emotions, thoughts, perceptions, and triggers. Learning about ourselves can lead us to increase self-awareness, improve self-care and towards greater success and happiness in life. We will explore new skills and perspectives to support your emotional growth and overall wellness. Together, we will work on goals tailored to meet your personal needs, hopes and dreams.
