Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am EMDR-trained and have experience working in both outpatient eating disorder recovery and local private practice. I specialize in helping teens and adults work through issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, divorce recovery, trauma, intrusive thoughts, grief & loss, self-esteem, perfectionism, body image, and disordered eating.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in authenticity, acceptance, and empathy. My goal is to provide a safe, judgment-free space where clients and I can work together to identify the roots of obstacles and challenges in their life, process emotions and difficult life experiences, build on existing strengths and resources, reflect on core beliefs and behavior patterns, and learn healthy coping strategies that enable growth and healing.

What you can expect from me

A strong therapeutic relationship is one of the strongest predictors of successful counseling outcomes. I view therapy as a partnership in which the client is the expert on themselves, and my role is to promote insight and healing through compassionate inquiry and reflection. My therapy style promotes curiosity, mindfulness, self-compassion, and, whenever possible, laughter.
