Hello! I have worked with a variety of populations throughout my career in crisis intervention & evaluation, therapeutic schools, and residential treatment for children and adolescents. My experience has been focused on treating anxiety, depression, life stressors & transitions, and family relationship issues. I am especially interested in supporting adolescents and young adults through some of their biggest life transitions!
I take a strengths-based and collaborative approach to treatment. I combine many different treatment modalities in order to best meet the needs of each client. I draw from CBT, DBT, and solution-focused techniques as some of the most common techniques. I work to find a balance of having a safe space to explore feelings while also encouraging clients to try new techniques and strategies.
I know that going to therapy can be overwhelming and I'm here to hopefully make it feel more comfortable! I'm here to listen and support you in achieving your goals. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where you and I will examine relationships, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, and many other obstacles that are getting in the way of who you want to be. We'll set goals together as we both see fit and work towards making those a reality for you.
