Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Katie, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, a dual-certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. I provide compassionate, evidence-based care for adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, bipolar disorder, and substance use.

Most recently, I have been working in high-acuity residential mental health and substance use treatment settings. I started my nursing career at the bedside on a cardiac and stroke/neuro step-down unit, where I cared for patients with complex needs and saw firsthand how deeply physical and mental health are connected. These experiences shaped my whole-person approach and deepened my belief in the mind-body connection.

My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and empowered to move toward healing. Outside of work, I prioritize my faith, family time, physical movement with exercise, and rest...habits that I believe are essential to well-being. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care works best when it’s built on trust, collaboration, and compassion. My approach is holistic and patient-centered, meaning I take time to understand not just your symptoms, but your story, your values, stressors, goals, and support system.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect a calm, judgment-free space where you can speak openly and be met with respect and empathy. I’ll explain treatment options clearly, answer your questions, and involve you in every step of the decision-making process. Whether you’re new to mental health care or returning after time away, I aim to meet you where you are and walk alongside you at your pace.

Above all, I want you to feel supported, not rushed, like you have someone in your corner who truly cares.
