Great to meet you!

I facilitate a safe place/space for my clients. I embody a position of mercy and strive to empower clients. Nervous system awareness/management is a key part of my work. The ability to effectively navigate emotions, relationships, and life can be challenging/complicated, but it is possible. I have helped individuals/couples with self-development, relational, and addiction issues. I have specifically worked with the general population, the military-affiliated, and those in the justice system.

My approach to therapy

My approach is guided by a nervous system perspective which accounts for biological, relational, emotional, and cognitive influences which both predispose and continuously shape our lives. Psychoeducation, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Somatic influences guide the majority of my practice. With warmth, humility, and kindness, I greet clients where they are. I hear, guide, challenge, inquire, and support throughout the therapy process.

What you can expect from me

My clients should expect to take away an increased understanding of themselves, their challenges, and their relationships. Clients most often leave sessions feeling validated, supported, and less alone. Most clients also conclude sessions seemingly empowered, encouraged, and hopeful. Typically, clients will have a greater sense of influence over their emotions, thinking, and behavior...and a renewed belief/confidence in their ability to engage in life effectively.
