Great to meet you!

As you read this, count to 7 while you breathe in deeply, then exhale slowly for 11 seconds. Doing this one small thing can help you slow down and reset. We often hold so much anxiety and stress in our bodies, and we can find relief when we tune in and notice what we’re feeling. You may be feeling totally stuck, unsure about what to do to feel better, and tired of listening to that harsh inner critic.

My approach to therapy

I focus on tools that are based in evidence and neuropsychology, and I work with people with anxiety, stress, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. I specialize in working with people who tend to be very hard on themselves, and struggle with overthinking, self-esteem, people-pleasing, or perfectionism. My goal is to do more than help you find relief from the pain you’re in.

What you can expect from me

Together we'll work on building new skills so that you feel better, and I will help you gain insight into underlying patterns and beliefs that have held you back, increase your confidence and self-esteem, and possibly surprise yourself with how much you can grow and change your life.

I’d love to hear from you to see if you’d like to work together, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me to schedule a free consultation. For more info, visit my website at www.KatieLawrenceCounseling.com
