Great to meet you!

Thank you for your interest in counseling services! My name is Katie, and I have been providing therapy in a private practice setting for over 10 years. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, grief and mood disorders using an eclectic approach to therapy in a supportive and safe environment. I currently offer telehealth counseling services independently, with individuals 18 years of age and older.

My approach to therapy

My style of therapy is client centered and strengths based, in a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe environment. I use various types of therapy depending on what works best for the client and their needs. I provide support and encouragement along with helpful tools for the client to use in everyday living. I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychoanalytic therapy to assist the client in understanding the complex dynamic between thoughts, feelings, actions and daily life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to feel heard and respected in a safe space. Clients can also expect to walk away with new tools and insight to help them in their everyday lives. Clients can expect to have my full attention and support during our time together.
