Great to meet you!
I received my Masters in Science in Community and School Counseling from Oregon State University.
As a trauma informed therapist I have a passion for helping people and families learn to communicate in a way that makes them feel seen and heard.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for over 20 years as a School Counselor and Behavior Specialist in grades K-12. This experience allowed me to support students, families, and staff through a variety of life challenges. I have additional training in Collaborative Problem Solving, Couples Counseling, Emotion Regulation, grief and loss, and ADHD.
I have worked with individuals, couples, and families of all ages. When life circumstances have made it more challenging to find the joy that was previously present or the energy, motivation, or focus to complete tasks have diminished I strive to walk beside you and create a space of self-discovery, healing, and calm. I provide the space to explore ADHD symptoms, anxiety, grief and loss, trauma, depression, or simply life circumstances that have become barriers to creating and living the life you desire.
I am also mom of two adult children so I can understand the challenges and rewards of parenting from both a personal and professional level. In my free time I enjoy getting outside, playing with my dogs, and spending time with my family!
