Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who believes therapy should feel supportive, practical, and human. I work with people who feel lost—whether that shows up as uncertainty, disconnection, chaos, or a sense of not quite fitting in your own life. Together, we create space to slow down, make sense of and manage challenges in your life whether that’s in men’s issues (such as communication, emotional expression, identity, relationship & societal expectations), women’s issues (such as people-pleasing, boundaries, self-worth, life transitions, expectations from others), relationships, parenting, career changes, and patterns of self-defeating choices. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, with a focus on building self-acceptance, clarity, and trust in yourself as you find your way forward.

I have experience working with adults and teens navigating mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, as well as substance use and recovery. I use evidence-based approaches to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe in humor and humanity in the therapy space as our therapeutic relationship is essential to making things work!

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is simple: meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you understand your patterns, connect with your values, and build practical tools for real-life change. Therapy can be serious work, but it doesn’t have to always feel that way.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, while leaving sessions with insight, direction, and skills you can use outside the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what led you to therapy, and what you’re hoping might feel different moving forward. You don’t need to have the “perfect” explanation or know exactly where to start—that’s my job to help with.

I’ll ask some questions, listen to your story, and share a bit about how I work so you know what therapy with me might look like. The goal isn’t to solve everything in one session, but to help you feel comfortable, understood, and maybe even a little relieved that you finally said some of it out loud.
