Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Katie! I am a licensed therapist with a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I specialize in supporting adults (18+) as they cope with anxiety and panic, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). In addition to these concerns, I have experience working with trauma, relationship concerns, depression, mood changes, and religious/spiritual concerns. My work with clients focuses on cultivating a safe, compassionate, and empowering environment to help you become the most authentic version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

Sessions with me may include conversations around awareness and acceptance of self and your unique way of navigating the world. For individuals with ADHD, I focus on addressing neurodivergent burnout by engaging in self-compassion and working to find skills that fit specific needs and make everyday life feel less overwhelming. I believe it is necessary to approach each client with authenticity and understanding. I recognize the needs of each person are unique, and I work to cultivate a therapeutic experience that honors everyone’s identities and preferences.

What you can expect from me

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or you are looking for something a little different, finding a therapist can be a daunting, overwhelming process. A lot of the people I work with come in feeling overwhelmed and stretched thin, “like butter scraped over too much bread.” Whether you are dealing with anxiety, guilt and shame, or just trying to understand yourself and others, my goal is to provide you with the tools you need to feel empowered in your personal journey.
