Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Katie, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist serving adolescents, adults and couples. I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State University and have experience working in private practice, schools, and community mental health settings.

I believe therapy is most effective when you feel genuinely understood, supported, and safe enough to be yourself. I work with concerns including anxiety, depression, adjustment and life transitions, trauma, self-esteem, stress, family dynamics, and challenges related to intimacy and connection.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, relational, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when you feel safe, understood, and supported. I draw from attachment-based, psychodynamic, and parts-oriented approaches while tailoring therapy to each client's needs and goals.

I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing. Therapy with me is about working together to better understand yourself and create the changes you're looking for.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll spend some time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. We'll explore your goals and begin identifying what you'd like support with.

You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and comfortable as we begin working together.
