Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Katie, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor providing virtual therapy in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, CPTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, and burnout. I find that life is stressful enough on its own, finding a therapist shouldn't be.

Clients working with me can expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where they can show up as themselves. My style is genuine, direct, and down-to-earth, and I often use humor appropriately in session because therapy doesn't always have to feel overly clinical or rigid.

I know finding the right therapist is hard. I'm not going to sit across from you and wait for you to figure it out alone. I am here to do the work with you. If any of this resonates with you, please reach out. I'd love to connect.

My approach to therapy

My approach is direct, collaborative, and tailored to what you actually need. I draw from CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing depending on what fits best, and trauma-informed care is woven into everything I do. I'm interested in understanding how you think, what's driving the patterns you want to change, and helping you build something that works for your life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring your goals, concerns, and history at a pace that feels comfortable for you. My goal is for you to leave with a clear "game plan," whether that involves ongoing therapy, additional support services, or referrals to other resources. Together, we will discuss recommendations and next steps tailored to your individual needs and goals.
