Hi — I'm Katie. I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 18 years of experience working with women, adolescents, and families navigating the kinds of pain that don't come with easy answers. I have a particular heart for the mother-daughter relationship — that tender, complicated bond that can become a source of deep hurt right when it should feel like home. I also work with women facing postpartum challenges, anxiety, depression, and the weight of all the roles we carry. For clients who want it, I'm honored to integrate Christian faith and personal prayer into our work together — healing can happen on every level. My office in Jupiter is warm and welcoming (yes, there's a full coffee bar), and I offer telehealth across Florida for when life doesn't leave room for a commute.

My approach is rooted in connection first — I genuinely believe the relationship between a client and therapist is the foundation that makes everything else possible. I use evidence-based tools like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Gottman-informed methods, but I hold them lightly. Healing doesn't follow a rigid script. I'll follow your lead, help you name what's really going on, and walk alongside you toward what you actually want your life to look like. Our first session is all about you telling your story at your own pace. I'm not rushing toward a diagnosis or a treatment plan — I want to understand you as a person first. You'll leave with a clearer sense of whether we're a good fit and what working together could look like. I'll share some initial thoughts on what I'm hearing and where I think we might go. Most clients feel a genuine sense of relief just from having been fully listened to — and that's exactly where I want us to start.
