Great to meet you!

I have a passion for providing supportive and individualized talk therapy with an overarching goal: to help the client reduce distress in everyday life.

I graduated with bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2012, and an MSW in 2015. I have experience working with children in a psychiatric hospital setting, as well as working with adults who have substance use and mental health concerns, including depression and anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I enjoy using a person-centered, compassionate and trauma-informed approach in a non-judgmental, safe space. I also enjoy using IPT, psychodynamic theory, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing.

What you can expect from our first session

We can build rapport, identify your individualized needs, and create a service plan together. Therapy I have been involved in consists of processing emotions, establishing healthy coping skills, addressing low self-esteem, unpacking attachment issues creating relationship conflicts, and promoting cognitive restructuring; the end goal is help decrease maladaptive thinking/behaviors and reduce distress in everyday life.
