Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 10 years of experience helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life’s challenges. My background includes school counseling, in-home therapy, community-based mental health, and working with youth and families in a variety of settings.

I specialize in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, behavioral concerns, family challenges, life transitions, and difficulties related to school, relationships, and emotional well-being. I especially enjoy working with children, adolescents, parents, and families who may need support navigating both emotional and everyday challenges.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel heard, respected, and understood—not judged. Together, we’ll identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies that can help you feel more confident and in control.

Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, your family, or a major life transition, I’m here to help you build a stronger foundation for emotional wellness and meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should be a safe space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without feeling judged. I take time to understand each client’s unique experiences, strengths, concerns, and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

Together, we’ll identify the challenges that are getting in the way of your well-being and develop practical strategies to help you manage emotions, strengthen relationships, improve communication, build confidence, and navigate life’s transitions.

I draw from evidence-based approaches and tailor treatment to each client’s needs, developmental level, and goals. I have particular experience working with children, adolescents, families, and individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, behavioral concerns, school-related challenges, family difficulties, and major life transitions.

My goal is for clients to leave therapy feeling heard, supported, and equipped with tools they can use beyond the therapy session. I want therapy to be a place where you can recognize your strengths, gain a better understanding of yourself, and build a stronger foundation for the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a comfortable, supportive space for you. I’ll listen to what brings you to therapy, learn more about your current experiences, strengths, concerns, and goals, and answer any questions you may have about the therapy process.

We’ll begin identifying the areas you would like to work on and develop goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. Depending on your needs, we may explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, school or work experiences, and other factors affecting your well-being.

You do not have to have everything figured out before your first appointment. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable while beginning to identify practical steps toward positive change.

By the end of our first session, you should have a clearer understanding of what therapy with me will look like, what we can work on together, and the next steps toward reaching your goals.
