Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, and I strive to make the process welcoming and supportive. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and CASAC-M with a master’s degree in mental health counseling, providing care to adolescents, adults, women and seniors. I specialize in anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, substance use concerns, relationship difficulties, and life transitions, using a compassionate and collaborative approach tailored to each client.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, allowing clients to feel heard and supported throughout the therapeutic process. I use techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I tailor each session to the client’s individual needs, with a focus on strengthening coping skills, building confidence, and creating meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, clients can expect a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental space to discuss their concerns at a comfortable pace. We will explore what brought them to therapy, identify their strengths and needs, and begin developing realistic goals together. My goal is for each client to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the next steps.
