Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner who services clients across the lifespan. While being a registered nurse for 25 years, I have provided care for all ages. My educational training consists of a master's degree, a Post-Master's Certificate in psychiatric/mental health, and a Ph.D. in Nursing. My professional goal is to develop a partnership with my clients that addresses issues that have interfered with their overall well-being.

My approach to therapy

As I begin working with patients, I understand building rapport is of the utmost importance. I am committed to being patient with individuals and allowing them time to express themselves. I understand that there must be a level of comfort that allows individuals to tell their stories and that is an important part of healing. I focus on a holistic and positive approach that is person-centered.

What you can expect from me

I understand that mental health is an important part of our overall well-being, but it is important that the approach be individualized. Providing thorough assessments is vital in achieving effective, and successful treatment. I offer an integrative approach to care that is comprehensive while also remaining compassionate. I work closely with my clients and their therapists to develop a treatment plan best suited for their lives.
