Great to meet you!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by pressure to perform, constantly overthinking, or worried about failing—even when you’re doing your best? I work with middle school, high school, and young adult clients navigating anxiety, burnout, identity challenges, and the stress of balancing school, activities, relationships, and life transitions. Many of my clients are driven and capable—including student athletes—but feel stuck, stretched too thin, or unsure of who they are outside of achievement.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates evidence-based practices, including cognitive behavioral strategies, strengths-based interventions, and performance-focused mental wellness support. I help athletes understand how thoughts, emotions, and pressure affect performance while building practical tools to improve focus, confidence, and emotional regulation.

Athletes benefit from this work because it is practical, strength-based, performance-supportive, and identity-affirming, helping them stay grounded beyond sport. My goal is to help athletes build mental strength that supports success in sport and in life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a conversation designed to help you feel comfortable, understood, and clear about what support can look like. We’ll talk about what brings you in, the pressures you’re facing, and how these experiences are affecting your performance, confidence, and overall well-being.

I’ll ask questions about your sport, training demands, stress levels, support systems, and any challenges such as anxiety, burnout, injury recovery, or identity beyond sport. You are welcome to share at your own pace; there is no pressure to have the “right” words.

Together, we will begin identifying goals and the areas you want to strengthen, whether that’s managing performance anxiety, rebuilding confidence, improving focus, or restoring balance. I will also explain how therapy works, answer questions, and outline practical next steps.

Clients often leave the first session feeling clearer, more supported, and with an initial sense of direction for moving forward.
