Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Katlyn Hash, but you can call me Katie. Before diving into my professional background, I’d like to share a little about myself. I’m a proud pet owner, with a 27-year-old turtle named Speedy, along with my three cats—Stella, Mufasa, and Toothless—and my energetic puppy, Piper.

One of my greatest joys is writing this bio to connect with you and support your journey toward reaching your full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling in 2020 and later earned my Master of Education in Counseling from Lindsey Wilson College in May 2023. Having personally experienced the complexities of childhood trauma, I am deeply passionate about helping others overcome similar challenges with compassion and understanding

My approach to therapy

My diverse experiences have enabled me to work with various populations, including those in community health settings, private practices, and substance abuse facilities. I aim to provide meaningful therapy and thorough assessments to ensure everyone receives the care and support they truly need. My therapeutic approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Person-Centered therapy, focusing on fostering positive thinking and creating a safe space as you navigate your unique journey. I’m here to support you every step of the way!

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you will be met with a smile and understanding. We’ll talk openly, like old friends reconnecting, to build rapport and help you feel comfortable. Together, we’ll explore how your symptoms influence your daily experiences, challenges, and goals. I’ll listen carefully to what matters most to you and ensure you feel heard throughout our conversation.
