Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree, trauma-informed certification, and training in substance misuse and addiction treatment. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, heal from difficult experiences, and strengthen their overall well-being. My therapeutic approach emphasizes compassion, authenticity, and creating space for clients to feel heard and supported. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me enjoying a quiet day at home, taking a walk outdoors, spending time with friends, or catching a live music show now and then.

My approach to therapy

I believe that all of us can benefit from support at different points in our lives, whether we're navigating profound grief, working through life's challenges, or simply trying to make healthier daily choices. My goal is to meet clients where they are and provide a safe, supportive space for growth and healing.

You know your story better than anyone. I believe that clients are the experts on their own lives and should guide the direction of their treatment. Together, we can identify goals that feel meaningful to you. My role is to support you, offer insight and observations, and draw from my professional training and lived experience to help you move toward the life you want to create.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. I approach therapy with genuine curiosity and a desire to understand each person’s unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. As a result, I may ask a lot of questions as we get to know one another.

I encourage feedback throughout the process. If a question feels irrelevant, uncomfortable, or simply not something you'd like to focus on, I invite you to let me know. Therapy should feel collaborative, and we can adjust our direction together.

I believe therapy is most effective when it is built on a trusting relationship between two people. During our early sessions, my focus will be on learning about you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and working alongside you to identify goals that are meaningful and important to your life.
