Great to meet you!

I am a Christian Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, and National Certified Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and experience meaningful growth. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing is possible for everyone.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe that therapy should be a safe space where you feel heard, supported, challenged, and empowered to grow. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals.

I also believe that therapy should be fun! While we will address serious topics, navigate difficult emotions, and work through challenging experiences, I believe that healing does not always have to feel heavy. I like to maintain a healthy balance between doing the hard work of healing and creating space for laughter, creativity, humor, and joy. Sometimes growth happens through difficult conversations, and other times it happens through moments of connection, reflection, and even a little laughter. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, encouraged, and empowered, knowing that healing can be both meaningful and enjoyable.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me will focus on getting to know you! We will spend time discussing where you are in life right now, what brought you to therapy, and what you hope to gain from our time together. We will also explore a bit of your personal history to better understand the experiences that have shaped who you are today.

I believe building a strong therapeutic relationship is an important part of the healing process, so our first session is also an opportunity for you to get to know me and become comfortable with the therapeutic process. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, supported, and confident that we can work together toward your goals. Think of our first session as the beginning of a conversation, not an interrogation!
