Great to meet you!

My name is Katrina Clement. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Virginia and I have a Masters in Social Work (2010) from George Mason University.

My approach to therapy

My approach is one of genuine curiosity; I am a therapist who blends modalities to fit my client's needs and so, you can expect a therapeutic experience unique to you. I often use solution-focused, acceptance and commitment, trauma-informed, motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness therapeutic techniques.

I like to weave humor into therapy at times as a way for us to decompress from the sometimes very heavy work we do.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a space of encouragement and compassion. We will identify what areas you wish to focus on and develop goals you can achieve. My nurturing environment is created to provide you with opportunities where you feel comfortable exploring your innermost thoughts, emotions and aspirations. Together, we will work to increase your self-reflection skills, healthy coping strategies, and healthy functioning which all promote resilience, courage, and joy.
