I am a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 11 years of psychiatric inpatient nursing experience caring for individuals from diverse backgrounds and across the lifespan. My work has included supporting clients with a wide range of mental health conditions in acute and complex settings. I value building genuine, trusting relationships and believe that feeling heard and understood is the foundation of effective mental health care. I strive to provide culturally sensitive, compassionate, and respectful care in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

My approach to care is collaborative, holistic, and evidence-based. I believe mental health treatment should be individualized, not one-size-fits-all. I work closely with clients to understand their symptoms, life stressors, strengths, and goals. When appropriate, I incorporate medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapeutic techniques, while also considering lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress management, and overall well-being. Clients are active participants in their treatment, and care decisions are always made together.

During the first session, clients can expect a thorough and compassionate evaluation. We will discuss current concerns, psychiatric and medical history, prior treatments, and personal goals for care. This session is also an opportunity for clients to ask questions and gain clarity about diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps. By the end of the visit, we will develop an initial plan together that feels realistic, collaborative, and aligned with the client’s needs.
