Great to meet you!

I am a Social Worker who is able to help those struggling with many different situations. I have worked with clients of all ages but I specialize in working with the adult population. I will listen to you so that I can understand your concerns, and I will work with you to develop a plan to find the life balance that works for you.

My approach to therapy

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then we discuss what brought you to therapy. I will find out what kind of things you value and how to best communicate with you. I will also ask about past therapy, what you believe worked well for you and what you believe didn’t work so great. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions with me feeling empowered, goal-oriented, and equipped with practical strategies to navigate their challenges. Through motivational interviewing, they will gain clarity on their values and intrinsic motivation for change. Solution-focused therapy will help them identify strengths and actionable steps toward their goals. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) will provide tools to reframe negative thought patterns and develop healthier coping mechanisms. In crisis intervention, clients can expect immediate support, stabilization techniques, and a sense of safety as they work through acute distress.
