Katrina attended Lenoir-Rhyne University in North Carolina for undergraduate studies, and received her master’s in social work from the University of South Carolina. She has been working in Broward County since returning to Florida in 1997. Katrina spent 10 years of her childhood living in Hong Kong and traveled to many countries and experienced many cultures. It was through these experiences that she learned to value each individual and made a commitment to dedicate her life to helping others. Katrina has worked in a clinic setting for over 22 years counseling and supporting women, children and adolescents infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Her experiences have led her to specialize in bereavement, loss and grief, depression, anxiety and women’s issues. She also has experience with fertility issues and elderly support.
