Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Dr. Katrina Pinkney—a doctoral-level Licensed Professional Counselor with over a decade of experience supporting adults who are high-performing to navigate:

  • Anxiety and overwhelm
  • Work-related pressure and performance strain
  • Life transitions and decision fatigue
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Identity development and self-worth concerns
  • Relationship challenges and interpersonal stress
  • Racial, cultural, and systemic stressors

You're someone who may be feeling “stuck” despite outward success. You’re someone others rely on—capable, driven, and responsible. But lately, the stress is harder to manage. You may feel burned out, anxious, overwhelmed, or mentally stretched thin from work, relationships, or constant demands. Even with your success, something feels off, and you want relief that’s practical and effective.

I focus on identifying what’s not working, building actionable strategies, and helping you move forward with confidence. Many of my clients are professionals, leaders, or high performers navigating stress, transitions, or decision fatigue.

My approach to therapy

I provide a space that is direct, supportive, goal-oriented, and efficient. I do not provide psychological testing. I do offer clinical assessments, brief therapy, and solution-focused support. I help you quickly regain clarity, stability, and direction. If you’re looking for short-term (typically 6-12 sessions total), meaningful support that respects your time and helps you get back on track, I’d be glad to work with you.

What you can expect from me

Clients often leave sessions with greater self-awareness, actionable strategies, and a clearer sense of what matters most to them. You can expect honest and collaborative sessions where your voice and experiences are central. My goal is to help you feel empowered, understood, and ready to move through life with purpose.
